Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

The doctors and staff at Hartland Surgery are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

We are asking patients if they would like to consent to their GP records being accessible to other important health care providers e.g. A&E, Devon Doctors, the Ambulance Service and other GP surgeries who might be involved in their care.

National Diabetes Audit 2017

We are participating in this national audit, once again. Participation helps us to look after you and also allows you to see how our care compares with other surgeries on a local and national basis. Further information is available and on display at the Practice BUT IF YOU WOULD PREFER THAT YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION IS NOT INCLUDED then please make contact with our team so that we can arrange to exclude your details from the national collection of information.


Facilities for the Disabled

There is good access into the surgery for wheelchairs and the team are ready to assist patients as required.
